TAMPA – Carlton Fields Miami associate,
Adrian K. Felix, was appointed to serve as Litigation Vice-Chair of the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division (ABA YLD). His term will begin August 1, 2009 and will run until August 7, 2010. Felix previously served as a Florida delegate to the ABA YLD Assembly at the 2009 ABA Midyear Meeting.
With over 150,000 members and 300 affiliated groups, the ABA YLD is the largest young lawyer organization in the world. The ABA YLD is committed to assuring it is best able to represent the newest members of the profession, ensuring that it reflects the society it serves, and providing young lawyers with the tools and opportunities for professional and personal success. Felix's experience includes work in commercial and construction litigation, employment discrimination, franchise law, identity theft, and criminal defense. He practices in the firm’s Business Litigation and Trade Regulation Practice Group. Felix received his J.D.,
cum laude, from University of Miami School of Law and his B.S. in Biological Anthropology and Anatomy from Duke University.
