MIAMI – Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that Miami Shareholder Angela Puentes-Leon recently served as a speaker on the Florida International University College of Law’s Professionalism and Ethics Panel.
The informal panel was organized for the College of Law’s first-year law students, with the panelists discussing a wide range of issues, including job expectations, professionalism, and the do’s and don’ts of being a law clerk or legal intern.
Puentes-Leon represents clients in products liability litigation and complex commercial litigation matters. Her practice focuses on the defense of clients in personal injury and wrongful death actions involving products and consumer goods, including automobile, pharmaceutical, and medical device litigation. She has extensive experience litigating individual and mass tort matters in state and federal courts. Ms. Puentes-Leon speaks fluent Spanish. She received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law in 2001 and her B.A., cum laude, from Florida International University in 1998.
