Tampa, Fla. – Carlton Fields Shareholders George Meyer and Mark Smith, and Associates Lauren Catoe and Scott Pence presented a seminar entitled, “AIA Contracts,” on October 6, 2011 in Tampa. The day-long seminar was designed for attorneys, presidents, vice presidents, owners, project managers, architects, engineers, controllers, accountants and contractors and addressed how to best have a solid understanding of commonly used AIA (American Institute of Architects) documents and how to use them to minimize liability.
Meyer, Smith, Catoe and Pence advised participants on how to better navigate through construction agreements, steer clear of costly legal battles, and provided updates on the latest AIA documents. Seminar topics included:
