The LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell developed the Counsel to Counsel forums in 2000. These sessions, which bring together senior corporate counsel and partners at law firms, are designed to facilitate the exchange of ideas and best practices regarding corporate legal department management. These unique sessions provide corporate counsel with an opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue about the key issues they are facing and offer participants the opportunity to share business experiences and professional insights.

The topics discussed during the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Management Forum included:

  • Litigation and dispute resolution strategies that strengthen the business without breaking the bank
  • Creating and implementing cost-efficient approaches to working with outside counsel and trusted advisers
  • Dealing with discovery without being derailed
  • Metrics and measurement: using case assessments and analyses successfully
  • Tackling tough situations: class actions, cross-border disputes and trends on the horizon

The Forum was held at the Epic Hotel in Miami. Carlton Fields co-hosted the program with Greenberg Traurig LLP.
