Tampa, Fla. – It’s been five years in the making, and on Earth Day 2012, Carlton Fields’ “CF Goes Green
” program continues to have a great impact on the environment. The firm’s green program includes a green procurement policy, a purchase of Renewable Energy Credits to offset energy use, a comprehensive recycling program and an energy plan that helps the firm continue to reduce its consumption of electricity.
This year the firm plans to focus getting back to basics. This includes an even stronger focus on recycling. Nicole Kibert
, the firm’s chair of its green program said, “recycling paper is mundane but paper waste is the biggest impact that an organization has (other than energy use).” Carlton Fields continues to educate its employees on the importance of carpooling and offers a portal for calculating your carbon footprint.
