Carlton Fields M&A Attorneys Discuss Raising Capital: Identifying Markets and Characteristics Needed to Access Markets and Investors

Tampa, Fla. – In partnership with Ernst & Young, Carlton Fields Shareholders Seth Joseph and Richard Denmon discussed how to best raise capital in today’s environment. The roundtables were held in Ft. Lauderdale and Tampa, Florida and the panelists discussed hot topics like:

  • Who are the potential investors — identifying the right investor
  • Understanding the current state of the private debt and equity markets — what markets are open and to who
  • Understanding the trade-offs between using debt versus equity

Joseph is a member of Carlton Fields’ Corporate, Securities & Tax Practice Group and practices in the firm’s Miami office. He has an extensive securities and mergers & acquisitions practice, including both domestic and cross border assignments, and he represents corporate issuers and underwriters in public and private offerings, merchant banks, private equity funds, venture capital firms, and emerging clients in acquisitions and financing activities.

Denmon is also a member of the firm’s Corporate, Securities & Tax Practice Group and practices in the firm’s Tampa office.
