Miami, Fla. – Carlton Fields Miami Shareholder, Patricia Thompson, was elected and named Of Counsel to the Board of Directors for the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. Thompson will serve a one-year term. This is the second year that Thompson will serve in this role.

Thompson is a member of Carlton Fields’ Construction, Labor & Employment, Insurance and Business Litigation practice groups. She concentrates her practice in the areas of construction, surety, fidelity and other commercial insurance coverage, employment, and commercial litigation.

In addition to her role as Of Counsel to the Chamber, Thompson is a member of the Chamber’s executive committee and has served as chair to the Chamber’s Education Group and Legislative Affairs and Public Policy sub-committee of the Education Group.
