Rebecca N. Shwayri published the article "The Supreme Court's Class Action Arbitration ‘Do Over’ in Stolt-Nielsen" in the July 2010 issue of

Matt Allen serves as the chair of the Carlton Fields' Class Action Task Force and heads the Carlton Fields class action blog, “Classified.” Allen has particular emphasis in class action and antitrust litigation. More broadly, his area of practice is complex litigation, including antitrust law, insurance litigation, appellate law, and general business disputes. He also has experience with governmental antitrust investigations, including those conducted by the Florida Attorney General’s office. Allen is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in Antitrust and Trade Regulation Law. He received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1990 and his B.A.,
magna cum laude, from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1987.
Becky Shwayri represents corporations, financial institutions, and business clients in disputes involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, class action, and conversion claims. Shwayri has experience representing mortgage holders in commercial foreclosure proceedings. She also represents individuals and organizations in probate litigation. Shwayri represents companies and individuals in different forums, including state and federal court, arbitrations, and mediation proceedings. She served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Patricia C. Fawsett, Chief United States District Court Judge for the Middle District of Florida. Shwayri is a member of the Carlton Fields' Electronic-Discovery Task Force and is a regular contributor to the firm’s Class Action Blog. She received her J.D.,
magna cum laude, from the University of Florida College of Law in 2004 and received her B.A.,
summa cum laude, from George Washington University in 2001.
