ORLANDO – Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that Orlando shareholder David E. Cannella recently received Board Certification in Business Litigation from The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education. Certification identifies Cannella as an attorney with special knowledge, skills, and proficiency in business litigation and this certification distinguishes him as a specialist in this legal area. Certification is the highest level of evaluation by The Florida Bar of the competency and experience of attorneys in the areas of law approved for certification by the Supreme Court of Florida.

Cannella’s practice is dedicated to complex business litigation. He has represented clients in a number of different industries including health care, timeshare, construction and commercial real estate, , food manufacturers and distributors, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals. Cannella is the leader of the Orlando office’s Business Litigation and Trade Regulation Practice Group. He received his J.D., with honors, from the University of Florida College of Law in 1993 and his B.A., cum laude, from Georgetown University in 1990.
