WEST PALM BEACH – Carlton Fields West Palm Beach associate, Dean A. Morande, published the article, “Review of Orders Dismissing or Defaulting for Discovery Violations: The Evolution of the Abuse of Discretion Standard.” The article was published in the May 2009 issue of The Florida Bar Journal.

Morande is a member of the firm’s Appellate Practice and Trial Support Practice Group. He received his B.A. from the University of Florida in 1999 and his J.D., summa cum laude, from the Florida State University College of Law in 2004. Prior to joining Carlton Fields, Morande clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
