Tampa, FL – Carlton Fields’ Tampa Shareholder Ed Lester was recently elected to the Board of Regents of the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers (ACCFL). Lester will serve on the board for a four-year term.
ACCFL was founded in 1991 and is a professional organization dedicated to promoting the field of commercial finance law through education, legislative reform and the recognition of distinguished practitioners, jurists and academics. The College promotes high standards of professional and ethical responsibility in the practice of commercial finance law.
Lester is chair of Carlton Fields’ Real Estate and Finance practice group and Legal Opinion Panel. In his practice, Lester works on commercial and real estate transactions and regularly represents clients in secured and unsecured loans, asset-based loans, loan workouts, real estate and equipment sales, leases and acquisitions and purchases and sales of stock and other equity interests. Lester is a Fellow of the ACCFL and has been involved with the College since 2007.
