Miami, FL – August 25, 2011 – Edith G. Osman received the South Florida Business Journal’s 2011 Key Partners Award at a reception held August 18 at the Hyatt Regency Pier 66 in Fort Lauderdale. The award recognizes 25 attorneys and 20 accountants in South Florida for being among the best in their field, providing the highest quality of service to their clients and exhibiting the highest levels of professionalism and ethics.
The 2011 Key Partners Awards recognizes 25 attorneys and 20 accountants who were selected for having proved, by reputation and results over the past 12 to 18 months, “that they are the best in their field, providing the highest quality of service to their clients and, at the same time, exhibiting the highest levels of professionalism and ethics.” The Key Partners were profiled in a special section of the South Florida Business Journal.
Osman is a past president of The Florida Bar, a past president of The Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL) statewide and for the Dade County Chapter, and past president of the Florida Supreme Court Historical Society and the First Family Inn of Court. She chairs the firm’s Family Law Practice Group and focuses her practice on matrimonial law as well as commercial litigation. She is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Civil Mediator and a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator. She received a law degree, cum laude, in 1983 from the University of Miami School of Law.
