Edith G. Osman recently served as a speaker at the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts’ (AFCC) 48th Annual Conference held in Orlando, Florida. Osman’s seminar was entitled “How Sexual Differences Influence Social Networking and Media Sites.”
AFCC is an interdisciplinary and international association of professionals dedicated to improving the lives of children and families through the resolution of family conflict. It promotes a collaborative approach to serving the needs of children among those who work in and with family law systems, encouraging education, research and innovation and identifying best practices.
Osman is a past president of The Florida Bar, a past president of The Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL) statewide and for the Dade County Chapter, and past president of the Florida Supreme Court Historical Society and the First Family Inn of Court. She chairs the firm’s Family Law Practice Group and focuses her practice on matrimonial law as well as commercial litigation. She received a law degree,
cum laude, in 1983 from the University of Miami School of Law.
