Edward J. Page Passes FAA Checkride and gets Flight Instructor - Instrument Airplane Rating

TAMPA – On February 19, 2010, Carlton Fields Tampa Shareholder, Edward J. Page, passed a six hour FAA checkride, consisting of verbal examination and a flight test, for his FAA Flight instructor - Instrument Airplane rating. Page has been an FAA certificated flight instructor since 2007 and holds commercial, instrument, seaplane, and multiengine ratings as well as advanced ground instructor and instrument ground instructor ratings.

Page provides legal representation to pilots, mechanics, and others involved in aviation matters, including FAA enforcement actions, airport matters, civil disputes, insurance, taxes, aircraft ownership, U.S. Customs, and alcohol or drug testing related to flight activities.

In addition, Page handles “white collar” criminal, aviation, product liability, wrongful death, and general commercial matters. The “white collar” criminal representation covers both individual and corporate clients, healthcare fraud, regulatory enforcement, including SEC investigations, and internal corporate investigations.

Page received his J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 1981 and his B.A. from the University of South Florida in 1978. He is fluent in Spanish.
