MIAMI OFFICE
Angie Puentes-Leon represents clients in products liability litigation and complex commercial litigation matters. Her practice focuses on the defense of clients in personal injury and wrongful death actions involving products and consumer goods, including automobile, pharmaceutical, and medical device litigation. She has extensive experience litigating individual and mass tort matters in state and federal courts. Ms. Puentes-Leon speaks fluent Spanish. She received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law in 2001 and her B.A., cum laude, from Florida International University in 1998.
ST. PETERSBURG OFFICE
Kim Gustafson handles complex business disputes and other commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts located primarily in Florida. She has a multifaceted litigation practice including aspects of banking litigation, business torts, deceptive practices, contract disputes, and real estate litigation. She has particular experience in trade secrets, non-competes, fiduciary duty claims, ERISA claims, business divorces, commercial foreclosures, and lender liability claims. Gustafson received her J.D., with honors, from the University of Florida College of Law in 1999 and her B.A., with honors, from the University of Florida in 1996.

Mac McCoy focuses his practice on complex state and federal litigation matters, including business and commercial litigation, class action defense, and real property litigation. Among other areas of business law, McCoy has a broad range of experience representing business entities – including national title insurance underwriters – in consumer class action litigation in federal and state courts across the country. In addition, he has particular experience handling class action litigation involving alleged violations of the federal Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (“RESPA”) and complex real property disputes involving challenges to title, easements, access rights, and adverse possession. Within the firm, McCoy is an active member of the Class Action Task Force, the Discovery Task Force, the Pro Bono Committee, and the Recruiting Team. He is fluent in French. McCoy received his J.D., cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law in 2001 and his dual B.A., magna cum laude, from Stetson University in 1998.
Chris Sacco has represented clients in securities class actions, shareholders’ derivative litigation, and other complex commercial matters in federal and state court, as well as in arbitration and mediation. He has experience in complex commercial litigation matters from large corporate clients, including defense of class action lawsuits. He also has extensive experience in both the prosecution and defense of non-compete claims. Sacco received his J.D., with honors, from the University of Florida College of Law in 2001 and his B.S., cum laude, from the University of Florida in 1995.
Board Certified in City, County and Local Government Law by The Florida Bar, Ken Tinkler’s practice involves a wide variety of government law issues with a focus on land use, environmental permitting, energy, ethics, and election law. His experience includes representation of individuals and corporations dealing with federal, state, and local government agencies, as well as representation of county government and constitutional officers. He serves as Secretary-Treasurer of the City, County and Local Government Law Section of The Florida Bar and prior to joining Carlton Fields in 2006, served as a Senior Assistant County Attorney for Hillsborough County, Florida. Tinkler received his J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law in 1997 and his B.A., cum laude, in Political Science from Boston University in 1994.
