MIAMI - Gavrila A. Brotz recently joined Carlton Fields as an associate in the firm’s Miami office.

Brotz is a member of the firm's Business Litigation and Trade Regulation Practice Group. She focuses her practice on business and contract disputes and health care litigation. Brotz has experience in the field of securities litigation, having represented broker-dealers and affiliated individuals in a variety of matters in state and federal courts and before industry self-regulatory organizations. She also has represented Florida corporations to recover substantial amounts under commercial insurance programs as well as to defend counterclaims relating to these recovery efforts.

Prior to joining Carlton Fields, Brotz practiced with the law firm of Bressler, Amery & Ross. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law in 2006 and her B.A. from Tufts University in 1998.
