TAMPA – For the second consecutive year, Carlton Fields Tampa shareholder, H. Ray Allen II, spoke at the Land Use Law Continued Legal Education (CLE) conference on August 26 and 27 in Tampa. His presentation as entitled Quasi-Judicial Hearings, How to Prepare and Present Your Case.
Allen is a member of the firm’s Government Law and Consulting Practice Group as well as the Real Estate and Financing Practice Group. He has experience in the areas of judicial and administrative litigation, appellate practice, land use law, and environmental and water permitting. As a result of this long history of representing local governments, Allen is intimately familiar with the inner workings of local governments and has significant relationships with government officials and staff members at the local, state, and federal levels. Allen received his LL.M., Master of Laws Degree in Ocean and Coastal Law from the University of Miami School of Law in 1977 and his J.D. from Samford University Cumberland School of Law in 1976. He received his B.S., with honors, in Finance from the University of Florida in 1973.
