MIAMI – Carlton Fields Miami Shareholder Jeffrey Michael Cohen was appointed Co-Chair of the Bad Faith Subcommittee of the Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee of the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Litigation. He will serve in this position for a two-year term.

The Subcommittee’s function is to study emerging legal trends relating to the law of insurance bad faith claims and publish articles for the ABA that educate the legal community about this specialized area of insurance law.

Cohen is a member of the firm’s Insurance Litigation & Regulation Practice Group. He concentrates his practice in the trial of complex commercial and insurance lawsuits, and counseling clients involved in significant litigation. Cohen earned his J.D. from the Columbia University School of Law and his A.B. from Colgate University. He is Board Certified by The Florida Bar as a Civil Trial Lawyer and an Adjunct Professor of Trial Skills at the University of Miami School of Law.
