TAMPA – Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that Tampa associate Lori Baggett was recently selected for Leadership Tampa, class of 2010.

A leadership program of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Tampa educates its participants on issues, opportunities, and challenges throughout Hillsborough County. Members of Leadership Tampa have demonstrated concern for the community and volunteer their time to service organizations. The selection process for Leadership Tampa is intensive as class size is limited to approximately 55 participants each year. Topics covered during the program include health sciences, education, law enforcement, cultural affairs, redevelopment, government, and other important community issues. A Construction law attorney, Baggett has experience in both state and federal court litigation cases involving breach of contract claims, defect, and delay claims. In addition, she has employment law experience in both state and federal district courts litigating Title VII, ADEA, ADA and FLSA claims. Baggett is a member of the firm’s Construction, Labor & Employment, Appellate Practice & Trial Support, and Business Litigation & Trade Regulation Practice Groups. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law in 2002 and her B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of South Alabama in 1998.
