National Association of Women Lawyers Mid-Year Meeting in Miami

MIAMI – Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that it was a Gold Sponsor of the Mid-Year Meeting of the National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL). The Mid-Year Meeting took place February 16-17 at the Epic Hotel in Miami.

In addition to the firm’s sponsorship, Carlton Fields Shareholders Angela T. Puentes-Leon and Kristy M. Johnson served on the event’s planning committees and Shareholder Edith G. Osman was a panelist at one of the event’s discussion panels, “Leading the Way to Economic Success: Compensation Models for the 21st Century.”

The Mid-Year Meeting featured presentations and panel discussions on issues including leadership, ethics, and client development presented by attorneys from leading law firms, as well as nationally known judges and corporate general counsel.

NAWL is a leading national voluntary organization devoted to the interests of women lawyers and women’s rights. Founded more than 100 years ago, NAWL has members in all 50 states and engages in a variety of programs and activities to advance its mission.
