TAMPA – Carlton Fields Tampa shareholder Richard A. Denmon was appointed Vice-Chair of the Disclosure and Continuous Reporting Subcommittee that he previously Chaired. This means Denmon is in the position to Chair the committee again in the future. The Disclosure and Continuous Reporting Subcommittee is part of the Committee on the Federal Regulation of Securities within the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association (ABA).

Denmon practices in the areas of securities regulation, corporation finance, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate law and has worked on a vast array of complex securities law and corporate matters. He received his B.S. from State University of New York at Binghamton in 1979 and his J.D. from State University of New York at Buffalo in 1982. Denmon previously served as a staff attorney and as special counsel with the Securities and Exchange Commission in its Division of Corporation Finance in Washington D.C.
