Richard A. Denmon and Sam J. Salario Spoke at the 2009 Fall Community Bank Executive Forum

TAMPA – Carlton Fields Tampa Shareholders Richard A. Denmon and Sam J. Salario, Jr. spoke at the 2009 Fall Community Bank Executive Forum which was held on October 9 in Tampa. Denmon and Salario gave an overview on current enforcement actions.

Denmon practices in the areas of securities regulation, corporation finance, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate law and has worked on a vast array of complex securities law and corporate matters. He received his B.S. from State University of New York at Binghamton in 1979 and his J.D. from State University of New York at Buffalo in 1982. Denmon previously served as a staff attorney and as special counsel with the Securities and Exchange Commission in its Division of Corporation Finance in Washington D.C.

Salario has a broad securities litigation and complex commercial litigation practice. He has represented clients in securities class actions against investment banks, broker-dealers, issuers, officers and directors; fiduciary duty class actions involving mergers and acquisitions and other change in control transactions; shareholders’ derivative litigation; SEC, FINRA, and State inquiries and investigations; corporate internal investigations and special committee issues; and other complex commercial matters in federal and state court, as well as in arbitration and mediation. Salario received his B.A. from American University in 1992 and his J.D., with high honors, from the University of Florida in 1995.
