MIAMI - Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that attorney Scott P. Andrew recently joined the firm in the Real Estate and Finance Practice Group as Of Counsel. He practices in the firm’s Miami office.
Andrew focuses his practice on commercial real estate and real estate finance, including leasing, commercial lending, loan restructurings and workouts, acquisitions and dispositions, and real estate development. He represents owners, lenders, purchasers, tenants, and developers in transactions involving office buildings, shopping centers, retail facilities, industrial and warehouse facilities, hotels, and residential and condominium developments. Andrew also counsels lenders and borrowers in all aspects of commercial lending, including conventional and mezzanine lending, loan syndications, construction and permanent loans, multi-state financing transactions, and loan restructurings and workouts.
Prior to joining Carlton Fields, Andrew practiced as a real estate attorney with DLA Piper LLP from 2005 – 2009 and with Fowler White Boggs Banker from 1998 – 2005, in the firms’ Tampa offices. He was an associate with Wendel, Chritton & Parks in Lakeland from 1995 – 1998. Andrew received his J.D., with honors, from the University of Florida College of Law in 1995; his Masters of Accounting from the University of Florida in 1995; and his B.S., with high honors, in Accounting from the University of Florida in 1992.
