Miami – Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that Miami Shareholder Gregory M. Cesarano recently received the 2011 Henry King Stanford Alumnus of the Year award from the University of Miami Alumni Association. The award is presented to the person who continues exemplary service to the University of Miami, is successful in their field, and has made a significant impact through community service.

Cesarano was recognized for his many years of service to the university as Alumni Board of Directors President (2005-2007), President-Elect (2003-2005), and Vice President (2000-2003). He was also hailed for his volunteerism, having served as an alumni representative at numerous receptions and events. He serves as a member of the Visiting Committee for the University of Miami School of Law.

A Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer, Cesarano is Carlton Fields’ Products and Toxic Tort Liability Practice Group Leader. He focuses his practice on trials of civil lawsuits and represents manufacturers, insurers, and corporate defendants.
