What is Green Leasing?

01.11.2012
Tampa, Fla. – Carlton Fields Tampa attorney Nicole Kibert spoke at an event, “What is Green Leasing?” on January 10, 2012. The event, hosted by the U.S. Green Building Council Florida Gulf Coast Chapter, featured a discussion of trends in achieving sustainability in differing product types and the motivations behind a green leasing program, which varies from the selection of buildings, to the development of green specifications, and to the negotiation of realistic and enforceable lease language.

The Florida Gulf Coast Chapter of the USGBC works to lead the region toward sustainability by encouraging and advancing environmental friendly knowledge and values as they pertain to the built environment and its relationship and impact on nature and human kind.

Kibert is a certified mediator and a LEED® Accredited Professional.
