• Dan Brown's experience includes insurance litigation, insurance regulation, class action defense, regulatory and administrative law, commercial litigation, state and local tax, and constitutional litigation.
• He has extensive experience representing and counseling life, health, and property and casualty insurers, health maintenance organizations, insurance producers, insurance administrators, and other regulated entities in regard to:
  • Regulatory matters before the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation, the Florida Department of Financial Services, the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration, the Florida Department of Revenue, and related agencies; 
  • Regulatory cases before the state and federal courts and administrative hearing proceedings before the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings;
  • Class action and claims cases in the state and federal courts.
• Mr. Brown is Co-Practice Group Leader of the firm's Insurance Litigation and Regulation Practice Group.
