Ed Lester has been involved in numerous types of commercial and real estate transactions and regularly represents clients in asset-based loans; real estate and equipment sales, leases, and acquisitions; loan workouts and settlement agreements; lease-in/lease-out transactions; purchases and sales of stock and other equity interests; loan securitizations, synthetic leases, and timeshare receivables financing.
Mr. Lester is a member and on the Board of Regents of the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers, and he is Chair of the Real Estate Financing Subcommittee of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association. He has taught secured transactions at Stetson University College of Law, and he has participated in numerous programs relating to his practice areas. Mr. Lester serves as a title agent for most title companies which write policies in the State of Florida.
