Elaina Sodhi concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial real estate and finance. Ms. Sodhi has significant experience in the representation of lenders in all aspects of real estate financing and asset based lending, including the negotiation, documentation and closing of commercial loan transactions, and in connection with loan restructurings and workouts, settlements, and loan sales. Ms. Sodhi has also represented both buyers and sellers of REO properties.
In addition, Ms. Sodhi routinely handles the documentation and closing of various types of complex commercial real estate transactions, including the acquisition, sale, development and financing of office buildings, apartment complexes, and condominium projects.
Mr. Sodhi also has experience in the representation of developers in the creation of condominiums (mixed-use, conversions, commercial and residential) and subdivisions. In addition, she has experience in commercial leasing, with an emphasis on the representation of landlords in the negotiation and documentation of complex retail leases.
