• Management of domestic and international trademark portfolios and intellectual property programs for clients in numerous industries, including title insurance, transportation, computer hardware and software, semiconductor and integrated circuit fabrication, fabrication equipment and components for making semiconductors, home furnishings, clothing, costume jewelry, fashion accessories, restaurants, hotels, television and online shopping programs, catalog and magazine publishers, online distance learning, beverage manufacturing, and professional sports
• Negotiated and drafted numerous research and development and joint venture agreements for title insurance companies; major aircraft engine and power supply manufacturers; leading restaurant chain; and major university research department; and others

Key Litigation Matters 

• Represented the largest prepaid cellular provider in a trademark dispute and obtained a settlement for our client 
• Resolved a patent and copyright infringement case for our client, a large fashion accessories company 
• Represented a patent owner on appeal and reversed the award of attorneys’ fees, leading to negotiation of a global settlement agreement 
• Served as Special Master by the USDC for the Southern District of Florida to evaluate and certify compliance by Dish Network with the terms of the Satellite Television Extension and Localism Act (STELA) to allow Dish Network to continue to broadcast signals from the four major television networks
