- Negotiated and drafted numerous research and development and joint venture agreements for title insurance companies; major aircraft engine and power supply manufacturers; leading restaurant chain; and major university research department; and others
Key Litigation Matters
- Represented the largest prepaid cellular provider in a trademark dispute and obtained a favorable settlement for our client
- Successfully resolved a patent and copyright infringement case for a large fashion accessories company on very favorable terms for our client
- Represented a patent owner on appeal and successfully reversed the award of attorneys’ fees, leading to a successful negotiation of a global settlement agreement
- Successfully resolved a franchise termination dispute involving our client’s copyrights, trademarks, and other rights related to its franchised training and consulting service business
- Served as Special Master by the USDC for the Southern District of Florida to evaluate and certify compliance by Dish Network with the terms of the Satellite Television Extension and Localism Act (STELA) to allow Dish Network to continue to broadcast signals from the four major television networks
