Julie C. Ferguson

Julie C. Ferguson

Of Counsel

Julie Ferguson has experience in most types of immigration matters and a long track record of solving the most difficult cases.

Ms. Ferguson services diverse and extensive corporate clients, ranging from multinational corporations to start-up companies in the United States and around the world. She works with corporate clients whose success depends on the ability to hire and move employees around the world seamlessly and efficiently. Through her affiliation with an international network of immigration attorneys and other advisors, she offers solutions for obtaining visitor visas, work authorization, residency and citizenship in many countries around the world.

As head of the firm’s EB-5 practice team, Ms. Ferguson represents developers seeking to raise capital and foreign nationals seeking to apply for residency through the EB-5 immigrant investor visa program. She serves as counsel to investors in standalone and regional center projects, and to developers seeking to apply for regional center designation. She is a member of the Association to Invest in the USA, an industry trade association of active EB-5 regional centers, attorneys, and other EB-5 related service providers.

Ms. Ferguson provides assistance and training to companies nationwide that need immigration compliance systems to ensure proper preparation and maintenance of I-9 forms; and proper preparation for, and defense of, government audits and investigations. She and her team conduct internal audits to identify immigration violations, prepare standard operating procedures to minimize liability for past violations, and conduct staff trainings on compliance issues.

Ms. Ferguson also has extensive experience defending foreign nationals in removal proceedings by obtaining political asylum, cancellation of removal and various other types of waivers of removal and inadmissibility.

She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
