Lori Baggett handles complex litigation matters in both federal and state court, including construction litigation and construction contracts, employment defense, and other commercial litigation matters. Ms. Baggett's representations include a wide range of industries and businesses, including owners, contractors, design professionals, developers, national retailers, industrial gas suppliers, correctional facilities, and petroleum jobbers.
In addition, Ms. Baggett has particular experience defending companies in disputes involving coverage under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA); defending discrimination and retaliation claims under federal and state law, including Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the Florida Civil Rights Act (FCRA); handling claims involving non-compete agreements; and defending design professionals and contractors in breach of contract matters and negligence matters.
