Practice Experience

  • Mac McCoy focuses his practice on complex state and federal litigation matters, including business and commercial litigation, class action defense, and real property litigation.
  • Among other areas of business law, Mr. McCoy has a broad range of experience representing business entities – including national title insurance underwriters – in consumer class action litigation in federal and state courts across the country.
  • In addition, Mr. McCoy has particular experience handling class action litigation involving alleged violations of the federal Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (“RESPA”) and complex real property disputes involving challenges to title, easements, access rights, and adverse possession.
  • Within the firm, Mr. McCoy is an active member of the Class Action Task Force, the Discovery Task Force, the Pro Bono Committee, and the Recruiting Team.  Mr. McCoy also served a Work Coordinator for the 2008 and 2009 Summer Associate Programs.  He is also a former member of the firm’s Associate Relations Committee.
