Merrick (Rick) Gross Joins Carlton Fields in the Miami Office

MIAMI - Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that Merrick L. (Rick) Gross has joined the firm as a Shareholder in the Carlton Fields’ Business Litigation and Trade Regulation Practice Group. Gross has more than 21 years of legal experience serving a variety of business clients. He has a multifaceted commercial litigation practice including aspects of banking litigation, real estate, creditors’ rights, securities matters, and business torts, and has litigated cases involving such claims in Federal and State courts in Florida and throughout the United States.
Gross is a Past President of the Dade County Bar Association and is the Immediate Past Chair of The Florida Bar Business Law Section. He is also currently a Co-Chair of the American Bar Association’s Section of Litigation Trial Evidence Committee and a Co-Chair of the ABA Section of Business Law Business Courts Subcommittee. Prior to joining Carlton Fields, he served as a Shareholder with Akerman Senterfitt in Miami. Gross received his J.D. in 1987 from Boston University School of Law and his B.A., summa cum laude, in 1984 from Emory University.
