Carlton Fields National Class Action Chair Julianna Thomas McCabe was quoted in the Legal NewsLine article, “Attorney: U.S. SC Review Of Arbitration Agreements to Impact Businesses.” The article discusses the U.S. Supreme Court’s review the National Labor Relations Act’s validity under the FAA, of class action waiver clauses in employer/employee arbitration agreements. McCabe explained to the publication, “In other words, the question is whether employers can utilize arbitration agreements within employment contracts that require their employees to resolve disputes individually, as opposed to collectively.”
