Carlton Fields Adds Property and Casualty Insurance Attorney in Tampa

Tampa, Fla. – Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that Madison Wahler has joined the firm in Tampa as an associate in the Property and Casualty Insurance Practice.

Wahler has defended numerous insurance companies and protection and indemnity clubs in complex coverage disputes in both state and federal courts, and regularly advises clients in connection with issues of insurer bad faith. She has experience representing admitted and surplus lines insurers in a range of insurance coverage matters arising under residential and commercial property policies, commercial general liability, premises liability, builders risk, automotive policies, and all types of marine insurance including hull and machinery, protection and indemnity, marine liability, cargo, bumbershoot, and other umbrella insurance policies.

Prior to joining Carlton Fields, Wahler practiced in the areas of admiralty and maritime law, liability defense, insurance coverage, and general civil litigation. She is fluent in French and taught at the University of South Florida before starting her legal career.

Wahler received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law. She received her M.A., summa cum laude, and her B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of South Florida.
