Representative Matters
- His corporate experience includes the formation of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies and maintenance of business entities, as well as the liquidation, merger, sale and acquisition of business entities. This experience also includes the preparation and review of a wide variety of business agreements.
- His taxation practice has included the successful negotiation, settlement and litigation of disputes with the Internal Revenue Service and the Florida Department of Revenue. He has also assisted clients and other professionals with tax planning in connection with various transactions and has considerable experience in the preparation and design of qualified retirement plans, as well as providing assistance to retirement plan administrators, trustees and sponsors.
- His probate/estate planning practice includes probate administration, tax planning and analysis to minimize estate, gift, generation skipping and income taxes, as well as the drafting and implementation of standard and sophisticated estate planning documents.
Pro Bono
- Non-Profit Corporations - Formed several non-profit corporations including Families Against Drugs and the Blankner Elementary School Foundation, Inc.
- Pro Bono Aids Will Project - Drafted estate planning documents for individuals in the community infected with Aids.
- Volunteer Income Tax Assistance - Prepared tax returns for individuals residing at the Lisa Merlin House and at the Coalition for the Homeless.
- Guardian Ad Litem – The program’s mission is to advocate for abused, abandoned, and neglected children. The guardian ad litem protects the rights and best interests of the child.
- Mediation - Provided mediation services to resolve civil law disputes through Citizens Mediation Services Program.
