Pedro Pavón, CIPP/US, practices in the firm’s Corporate, Securities and Tax practice group with a focus on information security, privacy, and federal policy, as well as corporate immigration law.
Mr. Pavón advises small and medium size companies as well as large corporate clients on information security and data governance, cyber security, data privacy, social media, general corporate matters and employment law. He also routinely drafts and negotiates U.S. and international technology services contracts as well as technology and software reseller agreements. Mr. Pavón also has experience with business-related immigration matters such as employment-based visas and investor visas (EB-5).
Prior to entering private practice, he was counsel to the Assistant Attorney General of the United States at the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C.; attorney advisor and program manager at the U.S. Department of Energy in Washington, D.C.; and attorney advisor and judicial law clerk at the Department of Justice in Miami. He also served in the military as a U.S. Army Paratrooper and Special Operations officer.
