Bob Ciotti practices primarily in the areas of major commercial litigation and appellate litigation, including private class actions and regulatory agency investigations, with an emphasis on antitrust law. He regularly advises businesses in a wide variety of transactions with antitrust implications, including lobbying activities, the creation and operation of purchasing cooperatives, and the scope of antitrust exemptions.

Mr. Ciotti has significant experience in environmental contamination litigation, including claims for property damage, personal injuries, and medical monitoring stemming from alleged exposure to on- and off-site contaminates. Mr. Ciotti also has an M.B.A. and often uses his training in this discipline in analyzing expert economic or damage reports, and in deposing expert witnesses.

Many of Mr. Ciotti's matters involve opposition to efforts by plaintiffs to certify classes in federal and state courts, as well as in the relatively new phenomena of class arbitrations. His experience in this area cuts across a wide variety of substantive claims including antitrust, trade regulation, environmental, product liability and construction defect claims.
