Robert Flicker practices in the areas of commercial real estate and real estate finance, including retail and office leasing, commercial lending, loan restructurings and workouts, acquisitions and dispositions, and real estate development. Mr. Flicker represents domestic and international financial institutions, real estate development companies, owners, lenders, purchasers, and landlords in transactions involving office towers, hospital and other medical and professional buildings, shopping centers, industrial warehouses, condominium and planned unit developments, apartment projects, and mixed-use facilities.
Mr. Flicker frequently represents financial institutions in commercial real estate and complex business/corporate loan transactions. He also handles the restructuring of troubled loans and loan workouts involving real estate and he has counseled lenders and borrowers in all aspects of commercial lending, including conventional and mezzanine lending, loan syndications, construction and permanent loans, and multi-state financing transactions. Mr. Flicker also has significant experience in preparing transaction documents, reviewing title and survey and resolving title defects. Mr. Flicker also advises clients in purchase, sale, development, and loan transactions, and has proficiency in the preparation of loan documents.
Mr. Flicker also has drafted and negotiated leases, amendments and lease terminations on behalf of landlords and tenants for office, retail, industrial, warehouse and mixed-use facilities. Mr. Flicker has negotiated leases with national credit, regional and local tenants, for spaces ranging in size from anchor boxes to small bays in retail centers, and for an entire office building to individual office space leases.
