Scott Andrew is a real estate lawyer experienced in all aspects of commercial real estate and financing, including leasing, commercial lending, acquisitions and dispositions, and real estate development. He negotiates and drafts leases, lease amendments and terminations on behalf of landlords and tenants for office, retail, industrial, warehouse and mixed-use facilities. He represents lenders and borrowers in all aspects of commercial lending, including conventional and mezzanine financing, loan syndications, construction and permanent loans, multi-state financing transactions, and loan restructurings and workouts.

- Landlord’s counsel for international investment manager in the leasing of its office, warehouse and industrial properties totaling over 1.6 million square feet, located throughout Florida.
- Lender’s counsel on combined $62 million senior and mezzanine loans for acquisition of apartment complex and conversion to residential condominium and subsequent restructuring of both senior and mezzanine loans.
- Lender’s counsel on $99 million construction loan for hotel condominium project and restructuring and refinancing to permanent loan.
- Seller’s counsel on sale of 40-story Class “A” office tower in Tampa, Florida.
- Lender’s counsel on $35 million development loan/line of credit to regional homebuilder for vertical construction involving properties in four states.
- Tenant’s/seller’s counsel on lease of 400,000+ square feet, build-to-suit warehouse facility and coordinated simultaneous sale of two existing warehouse facilities to landlord/purchaser.
- Lender’s counsel on $61.5 million loan for acquisition of multiple hotel/hospitality properties for future resort development.
- Lender’s counsel on $23 million loan for acquisition and conversion of office building to commercial condominium.
Pro Bono
- Represented Tampa Museum of Art on a pro bono basis in negotiations with the City of Tampa for lease, operating and financing agreements for a new museum facility in Tampa, Florida.
