Shannon Gray's practice focuses on secured financing and commercial real estate transactions, including loans secured by business assets and real estate. Ms. Gray has experience with structuring real property conveyances and mortgage loans so as to minimize the amount of taxes due in connection with such transactions. Ms. Gray frequently represents financial institutions in syndicated loan facilities, loan participations, mezzanine financing, and complex business/corporate loan transactions. Ms. Gray also has an extensive opinion practice, frequently acting as Florida counsel and providing legal opinions in Florida financings and routinely serving as local counsel in connection with multi-state loans and securitizations involving Florida real property.
Ms. Gray has recently extensively practiced in the loan work-out area, identifying issues and suggesting solutions to problem loan transactions. As part of this practice, Ms. Gray has also represented sellers and purchasers of distressed real estate and loan portfolios.
