Shannon Williams Director of Attorney Recruitment As the Director of Attorney Recruitment, Shannon oversees firmwide attorney recruitment and hiring efforts, including effectively linking the firm’s attorney recruitment, diversity, and retention efforts to overall firm strategic goals and objectives. The department works closely with the chairs of the firm’s Recruiting, Retention, Pro Bono, and Diversity Committees. Shannon Williams has served as the firm’s Director of Attorney Recruitment since joining the firm in 2007. Before joining Carlton Fields, Shannon was the manager of new lawyer hiring with Baker & Daniels in Indianapolis, IN. Shannon also served as director of professional development and pro bono program at Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis. At Indiana University School of Law, Shannon assisted students and lawyers with career planning and job search strategies and supervised all activities in the Office of Professional Development and Pro Bono Programs.
