Carlton Fields Shareholder and Chair of the Board of Directors Nancy G. Linnan was quoted in the Daily Business Review article, “Female Lawyers Seeing Rise in Leadership Positions.” The article discusses how women have ascended to management positions and other leadership roles at law firms in the state. The rise in female leadership has come after young female attorneys have reported experiencing gender bias in a widely discussed 2016 study by The Florida Bar.
"You have the pool of talent and ability, but I also think that the profession has become more diverse and more inclusive," said Linnan, who handed over her position as the firm’s Tallahassee office managing shareholder earlier this year to Christine Davis Graves.
