Life Annuity Specialist in an article about the use of data from consumer and other non-insurance sources as a life insurance underwriting tool. The article, “Big Data Starts to Draw Big Scrutiny From Regulators,” cited a report by the two attorneys noting that state regulators are taking a closer look at insurers’ use of non-conventional data in underwriting.
