March 13, 2018

Carlton Fields Shareholder Joseph Swanson was featured in the WJCT News and WUSF News articles titled, “Citizens Review Board Seeks Public Opinion on Tampa Police Performance,” discussing a community-led initiative that aims to evaluate the local police department’s conduct.

The Tampa Citizens Review Board (CRB), in partnership with the New York University School of Law Policing Project, invited Tampa Bay citizens to give constructive feedback on the practices and performance of the Tampa Police Department in an anonymous survey that ran from October 30, 2017 to March 16, 2018.

Swanson, who works with the CRB pro bono, was noted as having been a key player in ensuring that the survey was implemented.
