Carlton Fields attorney Amanda Romfh Jesteadt was quoted in the
Daily Business Review about her experiences as a lawyer, as a working parent, and as the president of the Palm Beach County chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers.
The article, “Legal Career and Family: Women Work Hard to Find the Right Balance,” focused on family-friendly law firm policies, such as Carlton Fields’ 16 weeks of parental leave. A commercial litigator who has been with Carlton Fields since 2008, Jesteadt is on the shareholder track while working an alternative schedule with a 75 percent workload. The firm also provides her the option to work remotely.
“It’s critical for my particular brand of work-life balance,” Jesteadt told the
Daily Business Review. She considers Carlton Fields “a leader in developing policies [for] women developing their careers.”
