Carlton Fields government contract and construction attorneys Daniel Felsen and James Carney were quoted in a Construction Dive article, “Denver Airport Commits to $770M Budget and Tighter Schedule in Wake of Great Hall Firing,” regarding the recent termination of a terminal renovation contract between the Denver International Airport and Great Hall Partners.
The Denver International Airport stated that public-private partnership with Great Hall Partners ended, and that the airport would be looking at replacement construction companies to complete the renovation of their Jeppesen Terminal.
The airport expects that the renovations will then be finished for less money and in less time than initially forecasted.
Felsen and Carney advised that the airport likely has a roster of companies to choose from, and could potentially benefit from their increased awareness of the project and direct relationships with the individual contractors already working on the project.
