Carlton Fields attorneys Julianna Thomas McCabe and Raina T. Shipman co-authored an article in the American Bar Association’s Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Law Journal discussing recent developments in appellate advocacy. The article discusses the impact of Justice Neil Gorsuch’s first full term on the U.S. Supreme Court and the effect of technological changes, including the use of emojis in appellate decisions and Fourth Amendment issues surrounding data gathered from cellphones.
