Carlton Fields Shareholder James B. Baldinger, who leads the firm’s Telecommunications industry group, was quoted in a
Law360 article about firm client TracFone’s efforts to stamp out handset trafficking. TracFone urged a judge not to dismiss a trafficking lawsuit the wireless service provider filed against several defendants in Florida federal court.
The firm has represented TracFone in anti-trafficking litigation for a decade, resulting in 74 permanent injunctions and more than $332 million in damages awarded, Baldinger told
Law360.
Carlton Fields attorneys Jennifer A. Yasko, Aaron S. Weiss, and Steven Blickensderfer also represent TracFone.
