Carlton Fields labor and employment attorney Allison Oasis Kahn was featured in a Tampa Bay Business Journal article on six steps for employers to enact after the Supreme Court’s recent ruling affirming LBGT employee rights.

Oasis Kahn suggests employers update EEO policies, incorporate LGBT-specific sessions into existing EEO training, create gender transition guidelines, and change sex-specific dress codes.

She also suggests that employers ensure nondiscrimination in employees’ experiences with any clients or customers, as well as in employee benefit programs and policies.
